This tour will guide you through the gems of the region, from the elegant and refreshing Vouvray white wines to the ample and full-bodied red Chinon. You will also enjoy the pleasures of the local gastronomy, praised by many as one of the finest in France, and vist the most beautiful castles of the Loire Valley.

MAKE YOUR OWN WINE WITH THE BEST WINE MAKERS

4 days/ 3 nights

End of September and early October - limited to 4 escapes of 6 people maximum.

An unforgettable weekend in the Loire Valley at the time of the harvest during which a wine maker opens his vineyard for you.
A chance of a lifetime to participate in the entire process of making the wine; from harvesting the grapes off the vine to the pressing of the grapes.

In 2011 you will receive the bottles of wine you have made (an excellent one !) that you will be proud to open and share with family and friends!

• A full day in the vineyard with the wine maker :
  Participate in the plucking of the grapes - The traditional wine maker’s lunch in the middle of the vineyard - Back to the cellar, to press your grapes and learn how the wine is made. An authentic and unique experience to be shared.
• A wine tour in the Vouvray and Montlouis area, to visit cellars and have wine tastings with 2 oenologues.
• A visit of a traditionnal French food market.
• As you can not leave the region without visiting its worldwide renovned treasures, we will also guide you through the visits of Chateau Royal d'Amboise, Chateau de Chenonceau, Chateau de Valmer, the city of Amboise and the city of Tour !
