The objective of our Loire Photo Tour is to allow you to take advantage of the splendour of the Loire Valley, renowned as a UNESCO World Heritage region, and learn how to better use your digital camera. Within just a few hours, Vincent, your workshop instructor, will show you how to interpret your camera’s many buttons, giving you confidence in selecting the best menu option for outstanding Loire photo results.

Day 1 - An introduction to the Loire Valley

Pick up at your arrival in Tours (either at the airport or train station) - consult us if you require a pick up in Paris or Paris airport. 

Private transfer to Amboise crossing the lush and green Brenne Valley and stopping in an outstanding wine cellar for a private visit and wine tasting. A lunch with local produces will be served, a great introduction to the gastronomy of the region.

Check in into your 4 star Manor House Hotel. Luxury and good taste down to the final details, allowing you to experience the real castle-life.

Visit of the Chateau Amboise at your own pace in the afternoon, one of the nicest Loire castles.

Dinner at a highly-regarded gourmet restaurant.

Day 2 - Workshop and Chenonceau

Your first workshop with Vincent, a professional photographer will cover the best ways to set up your camera for shooting in different conditions and allow you to practically apply this knowledge.

Lunch at a delightful place within the grounds of the Chateau Chenoneau.

Visit of the Chateau de Chenonceau, one of the finest renaissance  Loire castles to put into practise your first workshop...

Dinner in one of the very best restaurants of the region.

Day 3 - Full day workshop, Chambord and Cheverny

A full day of photography workshop: Your day will be spent immersed within spectacular photographic opportunities, architecture of an icon: the Chateau  Chambord. Nature and wildlife in a magnificent park and  beautiful landscapes. You will also be amazed by the beauty of the park and the elegance of the Chateau Cheverny.

Dinner will be at a gourmet restaurant.

Day 4 - Helicopter ride over the Loire castles

To conclude your stay in a splendid manner, enjoy a unique Helicopter ride over Amboise and some of the main Loire castles. A great opportunity for some exquisite Loire photo shots...

Landing and debriefing of the flight, the rest of the day is yours until your transfer back to the train station or Tours airport.
