Day 1 - An introduction to the Loire Valley

We welcome you at Tours (airport or train station) and personally deliver your high class rental car and your "carnet de voyage" (all you need to know for a wonderful stay).

Check in into your B&B 2 luxury bedrooms apartment in Amboise, located right in front of the Loire Valley chateau Amboise. All the comfort necessary for a family stay, space for the children and intimacy for the parents.

Visit of the Chateau d'Amboise where the gardens will offer you a magnificent view over the Loire, a Renaissance Loire Valley chateau with an Italian influence.

Dinner will be specially prepared for you so you can really enjoy the rest of the day in Amboise after your arrival, no need to rush for grocery shopping...

Day 2 - Chenonceau and Leonardo Da Vinci

Visit of Chateau Clos Luce and his park, that presents Leonardo da Vinci drawings, paintings and giant models of his most spectacular machines. A fabulous visit full of fun for the inquisitive and curious...

In the afternoon and after a well deserved lunch, The park of the Mini Chateaux is yours...A theatre of greenery, in the heart of a 2 hectare (5 acres)landscaped park, is the setting for no fewer that 45 miniature recreations of the finest Loire castles...The two hectares of park are criss-crossed by a network of 6 railway lines of a miniature train for a dreamlike and somewhat bumpy trip!  A vegetal maze a classical Renaissance feature will delight your children!

Day 3 - “Sleeping Beauty and Fairy tails”

Visit the Chateau du Rivau where the 12 gardens evoke the wonderful stories and legends that literature has provided. Lots of fun in this fairy tails gardens where you will enjoy a lunch in the middle of a vegie patch...

Visit the Chateau Usse, which gave Charles Perrault the inspiration he required for his story of "The Sleeping Beauty" before to head of to the Chateau Villandry , which undoubtedly owes its reputation to its superb terraced gardens.

Day 4 - Chenonceau and Tintin's castle...

After a leisuring boat cruise on the Cher river to the delight of the children, visit  of the Chateau Chenonceau and its magnificent gardens where a maze will amuse the youngest and the not so young...

Enjoy a lunch in the park of Chenonceaux.

The Chateau Cheverny is without a doubt the most magnificently-furnished of all the Loire castles. Take a trip through the park and along the canal. Time to appreciate the magnificent cedar trees. You will board an electric car to go through the park and at the canal you will embark one of the little boat to the amusement of all...

Dinner in a typical French cuisine restaurant of Amboise (5 minutes walk from the accommodation).

Day 5 – Private property and beautiful landscapes

Visit of a private wine cellar located in an elegant private property, which only opens its gates to RiverLoire. Wine tasting of some of our best Loire Valley wines and an explanation of the “troglodyte” concept of the region are on the program, a great way to be directly in contact with local people, lots of fun and a RiverLoire exclusivity. A sumptuous lunch will be served with local produces...and fine wines.

An enclosed park around the property will allow the children to enjoy playing in a total secured environment...
