Morning:

This morning you will arrive straight from Paris to Saint Pierre des Corps train station (the main train station in the Loire Valley, only about an hour by high speed train from Paris – suggested train departing Paris Montparnasse at 7.45 am to arrive in the Loire Valley at 8.53 am).

A RiverLoire team member will be waiting for you and we will make our way to Villandry for the visit of the Castle of Villandry and outstanding gardens. Your knowledgeable escort will accompany your through this masterpiece, sharing her passion for landscaping...

Lunch:

We will then travel West to arrive in Chenonceau where you will have lunch...You will enjoy a gastronomic lunch at the superb restaurant located in the park of the castle of Chenonceau, the view on the edifice and the fine cuisine won't let you indifferent...

Afternoon:

After your lunch well deserved, you will appreciate the visit at your own pace, of one of the finest Loire Valley castles: the Castle of Chenonceau, a supreme example of Renaissance architecture, set on its anchors of stone, withstands the challenges of time.

Mid afternoon we will meet again for a transfer to the Royal little town of Amboise. With an historian guide you will enjoy the 1 hour guided private visit of a jewel of the Renaissance and one of the greatest French Castles, the Royal Castle of Amboise. Built in the 15th and 16th centuries, this truly royal castle introduced Italian style and taste into the Loire Valley.

Your escort will then transfer you back to Saint Pierre des Corps train station on time for your schedule train (we are suggesting the train departing at 5.53 pm to arrive in Paris at 6.50 pm).
